Giselle's grant was to study dental assisting. She will benefit from the skills gained, but her two-year-old daughter will also benefit. Each of our applicants has a special and unique story motivating them to move from where they are to a better life. In many cases, their motivation is what they want to provide and do for those they love. We have the power to enable forever change, and most of the time, the net cost to our donors is zero because of the tax credit benefits. We are fortunate to live in a state where individual taxpayers are allowed to decide where they want some of their tax obligation to be spent. If you can put beautiful smiles on two beautiful faces like Giselle and her daughter, and it won't cost you anything in the long run, why would anyone not do it?
