Elisa Expresses Appreciation for TRVFA Grant
In the spring of 2019, Elisa applied for a grant from The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona so that she could study to be a Certified Nursing Assistant.  After receiving the necessary documentation to show she met the low-income guidelines required by the State of Arizona, her application was referred to the Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek by TRVFA Grant Application Processing.  Following an interview with the club board, they agreed to sponsor Elisa's TRVFA grant.

Several months later, a very thankful Elisa expressed her appreciation:

"I am not only a graduate of the program but I am duly licensed through the State of Arizona as  a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).   I am now working in my new role at Abrazo Hospital at their West Valley Campus in Goodyear Arizona.  I am enjoying my new position so much that I am actually exploring the possibility of training to become a surgical technician in the near future.

"I would like to offer my profound gratitude for your generosity through your financial assistance.  You have improved the quality of my life so much and for that I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Helping Others Help Themselves
TRVFA effects positive change by using the funds received from our donors to help others help themselves.  We have a huge goal this year - as we celebrate thirty years of operation - of gathering $300,000 in donations in the 2019-20 fiscal year.  If we achieve this goal, we will be able to increase the maximum grant from $2,000 to $3,000 as well as meet the growing demand for our vocational education grants.  CLICK HERE or on the image to make your donation online so you can be a part of helping us help others help themselves!

The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona is an organization which meets Arizona’s Credit for Contributions to a Qualifying Charitable Organization requirement.  Our QCO Code  is 20698.   Donations may qualify for an Arizona Tax Credit up to $800 for couples and $400 for a single filer.

We are also a 501(c)(3) public charity.  Donations may also be deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. A federal tax deduction for a contribution must be reduced by the amount of a state or local tax credit received, or expected to be received, in return. Please consult your tax advisor to determine the tax benefits of your donation.
