What Are Your Skills Worth?

The Essence of Why We Exist
The mission of The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona, Inc. (TRVFA) is to partner with Rotary Clubs to provide assistance to Qualified Candidates in obtaining education, training, and skill development so they may, in turn, attain career oriented employment and financial stability and contribute to their communities.

Our vision is for students go on to become productive citizens in our state. The education they obtain will help them earn a living and raise their families. Because of their increased earning potential they help grow the economy of the state of Arizona.
Tell Your Story
The Rotary District 5495 Conference is scheduled for June 20-22, 2019.  Soon we will seek individuals to share how TRVFA has assisted them in their careers and the importance of supporting TRVFA.  Look for more information in future Newsletters.
What is Happening Internationally?
Rotary is dedicated to 6 areas of focus and one is to eradicate polio forever.

Beginning in 1979 Rotary began with vaccinations for 6 million children in the Philippines.

Today, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan are the only countries where polio remains endemic.
Sarah's Success Story - Certified Nursing Assistant
"My name is Sarah and you all helped me get my Certified Nursing Assistant license and my Patient Care Technician certification.  I really appreciate everything you all have done for me.  I got a job as soon as I graduated.  I have now been working in the hospital for three and a half years.  I will be going back to school soon to get my RN."
Misha's Success Story - Dental Assistant
"School has been amazing!  I finished my program at the top of my class with a 98%.  With the help of my teachers, I was able to work with a number of different dentists, shadow an oral maxillofacial surgeon and have an internship lined up to begin on October 2nd!  I am so excited to be moving into this next phase of my career, and it wouldn't be possible without the help of you and your organization's funding."

Arizona Tax Credit
If you will have a state income tax obligation this year, you can help us help others without any net cost to you.

In Arizona, we have the unique opportunity to direct some of our state income tax obligation.  We can donate to one or more Qualifying Charitable Organizations.  TRVFA is a qualifying charity.  Our QCO Code is 20698.  You have until April 15 to make your 2018 tax credit donation.  You will recover your allowed donation one of two ways:

  1. You will pay a corresponding lower amount to the state when you file your state tax return, or
  2. You will receive a larger tax refund from the state.
